Ingredients:

  • 50g of tapioca pearls
  • 500ml of water
  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 200ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • Ice cubes to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pot
  • Strainer
  • Cup
  • Spoon
  • Boba Straw

Instructions:

step 1 : Boil 500ml of water in a pot.

step 2 : Add the tapioca pearls into the boiling water and cook for 30 minutes, stiring occasionally.

step 3 : Once they’re cooked, you’ll want to strain the tapioca pearls, rinsing them quickly in cold water to stop the cooking.

step 4 : In a separate pot, boil 250ml of water, add the black tea leaves and steep for 5 minutes and strain the leaves.

step 5 : Combine the brewed tea, cooked tapioca balls, milk and sugar in a mixing cup. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.

step 6 : Pour over ice cubes in a glass, and you have your classic bubble tea.
